About Me

Update September 2021: I started a big adventure: I try to cycle around the world by bike. It's an open-end trip. Don't expect me back before 2025 😉

Currently: 📍 Nigeria 🇳🇬

BUT: If you want to visit my beautiful Home region Black Forest and have no place to stay, just let me know and I try to arrange anything! My parents like to have guests. But please keep in mind, that it's a bit another experience.

About me: Sometimes I am a bit shy. Sometimes I am very open for conversations. It depends on the people around me. I am sure we will find an issue to talk about.

I am interested in a lot of things. On my travel, i have got a tent with me too. I like staying outdoors and do camping. But sometimes I am happy about company. We can talk about sports as well as about history. We can cook or play games together. I am open for new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am also using WarmShowers, but I made the experience, that my Couchsurfing Guests and Host often have another view on traveling than Cyclist.

I found a lot of new friends by using Couchsurfing. I am still in contact with a lot of my hosts and guests.

In Turkey I heard about this Idiom:
"The guest get what is served and not not what he expects". I don't expect much. Normally I sleep in my tent, so every couch, a warm room and shower is an upgrade.

Very often, i get more than I expect. CS is definitely no Diet-Platform.

I like it to get to know new people and show them my home region or let them show me their beautiful places.

With locals it is more easy to get to know foreign citys.
