Resumen
Sobre mí
Hey there stranger!
At heart, I'm an extrovert, a philosopher, a frequent visitor of nightclubs but most importantly a student of life. I've had my fair share of life experiences and would love to hear yours!
Personally, I fell in love with travelling when I first started travelling by myself at age 17. In the ensuing gap year I traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. I love hiking, I love partying, but am also an avid reader of psychology, philosophy and history (and overall non-fiction).
I lived in Amsterdam for 18 years, after which I moved to Rotterdam to study. I like trying new things and more importantly, like taking on challenges. I have a lot of stories from my travels and would love to share them!
My top three values in life are hard-work, openness to experience and generosity. I spent a lot of time and energy working on myself to become the person I am today, which is why I value hard-work. If people make a genuine effort, it makes all the difference. I try to live life with a bit of spice which is why I value openness to experience, I think everything in life is worth to try and one can only judge when he has done something. Lastly, I value generosity because it's just a way healthier mindset to be focusing on giving rather than taking. Not only does generosity make you happier, but it focuses on being a positive influence to the world.
Rock out with your sock out at Rotterdam's finest couchsurfing location, rated 6/5 on TripAdvisor.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
During my travels, I've heard some great experiences from Couchsurfing. Since I am enrolled at university right now, it is more difficult meeting like-minded travelers. My place is often referred to as a Hotel, due to the numerous amounts of friends/strangers sleeping on my couches. Someone suggested starting on Couchsurfing, so here I am. I look forward hearing about your best travel story!
Also, when I'm travelling, I love to meet locals and go to local places rather than the touristic attractions. Meeting interesting people and exchanging stories is one of my favorite things to do.

Climbed the highest mountain of Northern Africa and slept under the stars in the Sahara in Morocco. Hitchhiked from Amsterdam to Bratislava. Motorbiked from South to North Vietnam. Underwent a really sketchy eye procedure in Vietnam for less than 8$. Motorcycle accident in Vietnam. Dancing salsa on a stage in Cuba. Climbed a live volcano and into the crater to reach the largest highly acidic lake in the world. Hiked Indonesia's second tallest volcano during a thunderstorm. Diving with a dozen Manta rays. I have quite the knowledge of cheap flights (recently bought a 150€ roundtrip ticket from Amsterdam to Cuba) and could teach you how to get some.
I would love to learn how to cook a traditional dish from your country.
I love sharing experiences and memories.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Beers, a positive attitude, stories and whatever knowledge I picked up in my life. I can also cook for you, I've gotten quite good at it.
