My name is Marc. I'm 28. And I was born and raised in Maastricht, the Netherlands. After finishing my studies in International Relations, I worked for several NGOs as well as the U.N. regional Human Rights Office in Beirut, Lebanon. Then I changed to Marketing. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed and hosted on a number of occassions and have had mostly positive experiences. The thing I value most about this concept remains getting to know one another while surfing/hosting/meeting. Some of my best travel experiences include the insider perspective of a local.
