I am a 34 year old bloke who enjoys meeting new people and is very openminded. I like learning new things and am a fan of a range of music genres, especially psytrance music. I have two amazing boys of 1 and 3 years old. I want to teach them the world is bigger than Amsterdam only by taking them on travel adventures.

My future plan is to visit at least 100 countries in the world, and beyond! Though well on my way, I think I need a few years more for this..

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

In the past 10 years I have been travelling more and more, and my aim has been to visit at least two other countries every year, prefereably countries I haven't visited yet. Though travelling can be affordable if you save up a lot of money, I think it really makes a trip worthwhile if you stay several accomodations. Hostels and campsites are nice, but in my experience it is most exciting and educational to stay over at people's homes. People often know the best places in their home environments and you get to learn a lot about their traditions, foods etc. Therefore I think it is very valuable to participate in CS.

Interessen

I have an interest in learning new languages and have attempted at learning Russian, though forgot most. I do already speak some Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and English.

Reading is very important to me, and included in my favourite writers are Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson and Thoreau. I really like reading about history and traditions of different places and learning about different cultures and way of life, and most of all experiencing it myself. Not to forget, I like beer and food.
