I was on a road trip home from Seattle, and planned to stay in Tillamook before venturing into a state park in the morning. Unfortunately, the Tillamook county fair was going on, so we had to sleep in our car in the state park. Luckily for us, a magnificent meteor shower was going on, and because we were away from light pollution, we had a fantastic view. Having always grown up in the suburbs, this was a great sight for me.
