I have surfed and it was great and I love the concept/philosophy of Couchsurfing. Mostly Id like to meet up with people and once im settled I can start hosting...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Italy for a few days! My Host was amazing, really great and included me as much as possible (given I had a thesis to defend) in her social life etc :)
I have also had some great times at Couchsurfing meetups! :)

Interests

I am interested in pretty much everything. History, Politics, Philosophy, languages, sports, music, tv, film. I have been known to go on rants about various aspects of these topics, feel free to divert my attention accordingly.

I have just finished a Masters in Eastern Europe, where I was lucky enough to be based in Belgrade. I am now living in Graz, Austria, teaching English.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ive read a fair bit but not as much as I would have liked. Lord of the Rings being my favorite but I am trying to get into Serbian Literature a little. I can recommend some interesting parts of Irish literature :p
I watch alot of tv shows... and movies are always fun (even Serbian ones :p)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I interrailed through most of Europe twice.
First through France and Spain. Spain is great and I love Paris.
I have lived in Madrid and studied in Italy.
I lived in Belgrade for 3 years and now im in Graz, Austria
I have been awestruck by Rome, Paris, Venice, Budapest, Sarajevo they are amazing...
I cycled to Florence through the mountains and amazing scenery of Tuscany and Romagna :D

Teach, Learn, Share

When I inter-railed I found I rushed from city to city and missed out on alot by trying to do too much...
relax... soak it in... you dont have to travel every single one of those 30 days :s
Likewise in cities try and find locals (esp in Belgade ;) ) and share with them as much as possible its a different view on a city!
