About Me

I'm Marc, a recently graduated doctor!! Now taking a relaxed year before studying hard to do a state exam to be able to choose specialization to start an intern medicine residency. I am from Gavà, a town near Barcelona, where I have studied the degree. I also did an Erasmus in Copenhagen during 6 months during my fifth year.
I am a sports lover, I like rollerblading, snowboarding, biking, football, and basically all sports that involve adventure or/and a board!
I also love photography and making videos of every special things I do, otherwise I still have a lot to learn.
Considering myself as an open-minded person, I am always in to do new plans and learn new things from other people. Not having problems to make new friends and have a nice chat with a new-know person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and as I've get older, I've change the way I like to do it. Specially after my Erasmus, I am more interested to get in touch with the people and culture of every place I go, cause I think that this is the essence that makes all them truly special.
So after hearing about Couchsurfing from a friend who used it, I feel it is an excellent way to meet people from all the different parts of the world. Otherwise, it is an interesting way to help travelers to achieve their dreams of trips helping them by hosting them or at least guiding them through the place somebody is from.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh god! That's a really complicated part to fill.
First I have to say that I can stand all types of music, maybe saying I'm not a huge fan of Flamenco or Hardstyle music. For party, Dance and Pachangueo, for standard moments let's leave it into indie music in general, and for chilling, the best thing are OST or acoustic songs. Just to say, one of my favorite groups are m83, counting them great for chilling.

About movies I have more or less the same virtue. I can enjoy most of them. I declare myself so fan of that kind of movies that makes you think and stands in that line that makes you doubt if you have really understood it, for example, Inception, one of my favourites.

About books, I have to confess I read less that I would like to, but I've enjoyed so much books like "Marina" from Carlos Ruiz Zafón, or "The Wind's Name" from Patrick Rothfuss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a lot of great memories of my life. If I had to choose, one of the best things I have decided in my life is to do a medical exchange in Estonia with IFMSA during one month on August of 2013. The organizers just kept that month for us and prepared a huge amount of activities and trips to do during the weekends! The traumatology practices in Tartu were amazing. But the thing that made it the most amazing thing ever done was the people from the exchange! I made some of my best friends there in Estonia, and still have contact with most of them.
Definetly, I will never forget it.
