This account originally was created by my wife Magda. Unfortunately she died the 7 of July 2012. I realy want to continue hosting friends of all over the world, like we used to do before she went ill. With respect to Magda I made the less possible changes on what she wrote.

Interests

At this very moment: walking to Athens....two people and a dog....slow and steady wins the race:-))
We walked about 1000 km, from home to Sankt Anton am Arlberg in Austria. For the moment I don't know if I will continue the walk on my own (with the dog of course)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not good at music....
I enjoy a bit of everything (from gregorian over opera to ska to world music to simple "hits") but not always and not too much:-)
I like to read and my goal (which I will never reach:-)) is to have read one book from every Nobel-prize winner...but why are most of them so dull?????
Best film have have seen in 2007: Babel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Euh????
Having raised 4 children so that they all want to see the world and enjoy meeting people?
I made a trip through the desert in Maroc and that was really WAW!!!
Being married to the same guy for 31 years and still loving eachother?
We took hollidays with our 4 (then small) children during the war in ex-Yougaslavia and we organised a party with people of 10 nationalities,also Serbs, Croatians, aso... and it was the nicest party we ever had!!!!
Being invited on the yacht of a Russian miljonair in Dubrovnik and he made a "vodka-barbecue" on his yacht....a little bit of chicken "fried" in a lot of vodka.....

Teach, Learn, Share

they say I make terrific spaghetti-sauce and I can share the recipe:-)
I can teach you how to milk a goat and my husband is very good in explaining maths (for who ever that is interesting:-)).
I'm looking for that unique person who can teach me how to make a perfectly soft-boiled egg!!!
