Hello! I'm a youngman from Catalonia, Spain, currently doing an EVS (European Voluntary Service) about astronomy, and also I do some work with children and teenagers in Cristuru Secuiesc (Transylvania, Romania). Since my contract ends in October and I have free days for myself, I decided to travel around other near countrys before going back home, since this is a good chance to visit them before going back to my job. Who knows when will be my next chance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a volunteer my budget is a little tight and I plan to visit the cities as much as I can, so I only need a roof where to spend the nights. But of course I also would love to spend some time taking a coffee with my host:)
Is also a good oportunity to meet some local people and learn from them, from the personal way and also about the city/country itself. I love history, so I'm always ready for some facts or recomendations about the places I'm visiting!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the 2000 or so indie-rock, like Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, Arcade Fire, Metric, The Strokes, The Fratellis, The Pillows and so on, but I also like to listen some classic music (especially Dvorak) and some other stuff like Johnny Cash and Nujabes.

About literature, reading is one of my biggest hobbies. In fact, I'm colecting the favourite books from people that I'm meeting here to read them later. From now, my favourite books ara The shadow of the wind (and all the saga itself), The name of the wind, The catcher in the rye, The grapes of wrath, The silence of the lambs,The way of Kings, The Century Trilogy (Ken Follett) and Franny and Zooey. I like all kind of books, so I'm open to every sugestion.

Finally, I also love cinema. My favourite movies include American Beauty, Braveheart, all Hayao Miyazaki movies, Django, You were never really here, Gran Torino and Nightmare before christmas from my childhood. Again, open mostly to every kind of movie.
(But don't host me if you did like the movie Paterson...!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really something incredible, but did play basketball for 9 years and I did live in Sheffield (UK) for half a year when I was 20 years old to learn and improve my english.
