Hi everyone! I´m Marcelo. I was born in Bs As, Argentina but living in Brazil since 2010. In Argentina I´ve worked in the hotel industry for many years and since then, I love meeting new people and their culture. In Brazil, I work as an English Teacher and Spanish Teacher, in elementary schools, high schools and in language schools.

Mercedes Sosa, Nina Simone, Tanita Tikaram, Soda Stereo, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Thalia, Tarkan, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Queen, George Michael, Tracy Chapman, Adele, Ella Fitzgerald and many more are my favorite artists... I also love discovering new artists from around the world.

There are some movies I´ll never forget like "Les Choristes", "The City of Lost Children", "Brazil", "Pulp Fiction", most of Almodovar and Alex de la Iglesia and obviously most of Ricardo Darin movies!

Some of my favorite books are "Alice´s adventures in Wonderland", "Gulliver´s Travels", "The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy", "El Aleph", "100 años de soledad", "Do androids dream of electric sheep?" and some authors like Huxley, Cortázar, Gabriel García Marquez, Mark Twain, Borges and so many great writers around the world...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese and some cultural facts about South America. I love learning about other cultural idiosyncrasies and obviously share mine! I´m not a great cook but I love experimenting in the kitchen... I love crafts and inventing/creating/fixing things (mostly with wood).
