Overview
About Me
It’s always a bit difficult to write about myself. I feel like I’m constantly changing, shape-shifting, learning, becoming something new.
What really brings me to travel and Couchsurfing is the wish to step into life more fully: meeting people, sharing stories, growing, and opening myself to experiences that expand me.
I’m from Slovenia, a very small country full of forests, fog, and quiet magic. Most people barely know where it is, so I’m always happy to share stories about it.
By training, I’m a pharmacy technician, and I have a strong background in European medicinal plants — herbs, dosages, indications, contraindications, and making tinctures and creams. At the same time, my life took me in a very different direction. I completed a 3-year program at the New Butoh School of Puglia, and Butoh dance became one of my main languages for expressing what words often cannot. Movement helps me explore raw emotions and the parts of myself that don’t always fit neatly together.
I also study Nonviolent Communication through somatic learning, and I’m deeply interested in psychology, consciousness, and contemplative traditions. I even studied biopsychology for a while before dropping out, but the fascination stayed.
From time to time, I travel to Theravada monasteries to reconnect with simplicity and basics.
Even though I walk a spiritual path, I definitely still do my fair share of foolish and playful things 😄 There’s a bit of a wild, punk spirit in me. 🤘
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly i travel to different monastaries and temples across the EU, so finding acomodation until i arrive to destination is a blessing while meeting new people :)
