Overview
About Me
Until January i'm studying in Clermont-Ferrand. That is why I can't host anyone in that time.
I'm a relaxed student from Freiburg, Germany. I'm studying Philosophy and Computer Science, but I'm more into speaking, than into calculating. I like to go hiking, going to lakes and I'm pretty good at laying in beds. I'm very passionate about pizza (and I'm almost always willing to make pizza), and I'm pretty confident in my cooking (mostly vegetarian, please don't ask me to fry your good piece of meat. You can do it better).
As I lived the last 4 years in shared-flats and the last 2 years with internationals, having this cultural exchange is a fun part.I meeting new people, that are different than me and have a different mind-set.

Music, Movies, and Books
Until two years ago, I was really into Metalcore and I went to way too much concerts. Now I'm struggling to categorize my taste in music, because I think it is mainly indie-music and individual songs that pop-up in my Discover Weekly on spotify.
For the last half year I was on the indie-movie platform mubi.com and discovered unpopular films (wich i really appreciate). But my favorite directors are Charlie Kaufman, Masaaki Yuasa and Wes Anderson. Spotlights on three movies: La Haine (1995), Victoria (2015), The Dreamers (2003).
Considering books, I'm a Kafka fanboy. There is still some left, mainly because I don't have enough time. I'm reading too much of Niklas Luhmann (German sociologist) and i come to like the early books from Goethe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At my University in Freiburg, Germany, as the students representations of the Institute of Philosophy, we organized a series of lectures with the title "Democracy - Possibilities And Vulnerabilities" (Demokratie - Möglichkeiten und Schwachstellen). We were able to get 10 of the most appreciated Professors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to speak at our university, while I was doing the moderation.
Teach, Learn, Share
If someone can explain biological processes to me, I'm eager to listen at least 4 hours. And till today, I'm not really sure, if I'm doing sewing right.
I can play the saxophone a bit.
Which is sometimes useful: I can do some the things with zeros and ones. But I won't say a thing about it, if you don't ask (because mainly, it is quite longbreathed).
What I Can Share with Hosts
- receipts and cooking styles
- the whole history of political and philosophical thoughts
- how to play saxophone
- why you should use linux
- pretty okay word puns
- how to win against bureaucracy in Germany
