One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over Christmas 2016 my mate and me visited Mt Manganui in Tauranga, New Zealand for a couple of days. On our last day a few minutes after we left to go back home to Auckland my mate told me that he would like to stay there one more night cause it was so awesome. I've got an idea and went up to the highest point in the mountains and told him that we gonna sleep there for the night to have a beautiful view over Mt Manganui. Half an hour later we arrived at the top and I drove straight into an private property with a big massive house at the top. I rang the bell and an old men came outside. He was a little bit afraid that we came up there I think. I explained him that we're backpackers from Germany and everything and asked him if it's possible to stay at his property for one night and sleep in our Campervan just to enjoy the nice sunset from the top of hill. He said that he can't see a problem with that and we were so happy to stay there for one night. So we gave him and his wife one of our package with avocados after a nice conversation on their balcony. Finally all of us were happy and my mate and me enjoyed a free night with a wonderful sunset.
