Hey, I'm Marcel, and I'm 29 years old. In Oct. 2018 I moved to the German capital Berlin and am working there since. My girlfriend is living about 2,5h away, close to Hamburg.
In 2008 I moved to Montana, USA and started a one-year cultural exchange program at the Forsyth Highschool. I lived with a lovely hostfamily with which I'm still in close contact today. I love travelling the world and get to know new people. For me, couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet new people and hear there unique stories.
Unfortunately my apartment is too small to host people myself. When I move to a bigger apartment I definitely plan to host people.

Although I haven't used couchsurfing that much, the experiences I had so far were mostly great. I love meeting new people from different cultures and to experience their way of living. For me as a student couchsurfing is the perfect way to combine this with the opportunity to safe money on expensive hotels.
