About Me

CURRENT MISSION

experiences.

ABOUT ME

i've recently decided to shake up my roots and move out of the home town to new orleans, but i have every intention to keep traveling as much as possible and not live anywhere for more than a year. i'm chasing the dream of being a gypsy jazz guitarist, but this is only a recent serious decision so i've still got a ton of learning to do.

PHILOSOPHY

i'm not sure. it changes all the time. i prefer not to label myself with and ist's and ism's.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

in my hometown i haven't been a part of the community very much. but i'd like to get involved in some things so, hit me up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i don't have any couch surfing experience yet, but i hope to acquire a lot more in the future!

Interests

music of course. reading, writing, drawing and so on and so forth. not that i actively know a whole lot about these things, but its the stuff that holds my attention. i like meeting new people and talking about meaningful things!

Music, Movies, and Books

books and authors i like: the portrait of the artist as a young man by james joyce (i aspire to read his other books as well), anything by j.d. salinger, aldous huxley, dostoevsky, and kahlil gibran.

movies: waking life, the go getter, 500 days of summer, donnie darko, you've got mail, and i like old black and white movies.

music: i like gypsy jazz, hip-hop (from the cheesiest to the most intellectual), and the 60's and 70's. if black people make it, i probably will like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

going to san fransico with my friends is probably one of the most beautiful things i've done. not that everything was nice looking or something, just the way i felt and the way we were was beautiful, if that makes sense. i have a tendency to get awestruck by every day things and feel indifferent when i see things that usually people consider a big deal. but i'm hoping this trip to europe will open my eyes.
