ABOUT ME

My name is Marcel, 31, from Bregenz (a small town next to the Alps of Austria). Currently I am living in the capital city Vienna where I completed my Master degree three years ago. Since then I have been working in an Online Marketing company. Seven years ago I also started working as a Hip-Hop dance teacher. Thereby I love to see the smile on peoples faces when they learn how to do a new dance step or even a whole choreography :)

I would describe myself as an open-minded person that quickly gets along with people from different cultural backgrounds with different attitudes. I am a person that likes to travel, to explore the world, to practice languages and to get known to other people from different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in 4 countries so far:

* Israel - Travelled through Israel for 14 days. Couchsurfing all nights with super gentle hosts. Except for one night when I slept in the Austrian hospice in Jerusalem.

* Turkey - Travelled through Turkey for 20 days and experienced the amazing Turkish hospitality via Couchsurfing. Couchsurfed every single night.

* Stockholm - Surfed with a nice host for a couple of days while visiting the beautiful city of Sweden.

* Shanghai - Met and got known to people through Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Seeing the most beautiful sunset I have ever experienced in Izmir (Turkey) while taking a ferry along the coastline.

* Running towards the sunset along a beach on a lonely island in Australia while listening to my favorite song at that time. Amazing feeling!

* Staying on top of the castle in Ankara (Turkey) and having a beautiful 360° view over the city while listening to music.
