I've joined Couchsurfing in the hopes of doing 2 things I really like: meet new people with different life histories and visit new places.
It's a great way to meet new people, really get a clue how other people live, learn from each other, and have fun together. Offering a stranger my hospitality and a place to stay is a way for me to give something back.
