About Me

ABOUT ME

Ive been traveling the world for a long time, since i was 7. I grew up in Japan and lived in Brazil for a while, but there was a time in life when I had the need of RESERT my life and start everything from 0 again.

Its been 4 years since I moved to Uruguay. My main plan was to study gastronomy, but as I never had the money to do so, I started to learn from books and specially from youtube the basics of baking. I sold my first brownie in 2015 and after that, all I wanted was to cook more and more.

In Montevideo I have a small apartment that turned into a Guesthouse I named Casa Larica. Here I host dinners and guests from all over the world and for this upcoming winter, I want to travel around Brazil for a bit to research Amazonian and its flavours so I can bring it to Uruguay.

Thats my job right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I own a guest house and I love to host, now I would like to explore the other side.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love some rap and hip hop. I also like electronic music and reggaeton. I like music. Music is cool. Let me
mention again that I love rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on board of a ruge ship that gave me the opportunity of visiting many different countries. I also moved to Montevideo (something i had in mind since 2011), and this is being the most amazing experience ever in my life. I quit all the jobs and I decides to own my own life and try to do it alone. Its hard but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Teach, Learn, Share

Fun, laughs, my cooking skills and photos! Seriously, I love cooking AND eating so couch surfing is definitely an excuse to try out your food! I can cut the onions, no problem! (I wrote this a few years a go and in 2017 I got off Masterchef Uruguay cutting onions. Life is a joke).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook and I photograph.
