ABOUT ME

We're Emma and Marcel. We live in Nijmegen, a town located middle-east in The Netherlands, close to Germany. It's about 1 1/2 hour from Amsterdam by train. Marcel is the final editor for a youth website. Emma is teaching at the university. We're most of the time quite happy in life. And always curious to meet people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We like to offer our (do it yourself) couch to tired travellers, but we also have a spare bed in a spare room. We can cook some meal, show the town or just have a quiet night in, talk (and maybe drink) a bit at the table.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We did spent quite some time on other people's sofa's in our lives. From an old couch in some student home or a squad till the fancy guestroom at somebody's parents place. But we like it best when there's a connection with the host and we stay in contact later.

Interests

We like to read, write, study, cook, eat, meet people, travel, watch interesting tv, drink, hang out with friends, talk with family and friends

We like lot's of music, books, movies and other kinds of entertainment. But without them we're also never bored.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing we did in our lifetime was trying to stay ourselves and we'd succeed pretty well.
