About Me

Hello lovely people!;)

My name's Marcell, originally from Hungary, artistic soul, musician, traveller, seeking discomfort, am trying to represent what's missing from today's world.

What am I afraid the most? Having an ordinary life I guess.

After finishing my second year in uni, the very end of May, 2019, I decided to leave my country for the summer. Started volunteering, crossing borders, acquainting new cultures, customs, not to mention all the beautiful human souls I've met. In September I had 2 chances. Going back to my country, to catch the next semester or continuing my journey. From the French Alps I just reached Italy. You can guess what I chose.
Everybody thought I am crazy. But I was just following my gut. Never regretted since then;)

I started my trip in June. Finished in December. Took a plane back to Budapest from Sardinia. After more than half year of adventures I realised something. Our life's just running away. We're occupied at work, worried about studies. It's not our fault. Our world is just way too busy.
But why not to stop sometimes. Why not to just stand and doing nothing. Wondering how beautiful our world is. How many people are out there you've never met but still you should...
I've got a traveling bug. I guess it's kind of an addiction you never wanna get cured of.

-If you're in town, just hit me up and let's be jamming! 🎹.
-Or just hangout and tell traveling stories. Always up for that;)
- If you're lucky I can even host you but not take it for granted))

Motto: Carpe Diem! 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It has started from being a budget traveler, it has become a vocation. The most love I've got on my "big" trip was from CS users that I'll never forget!

After I returned I told myself. Yeah why not?! I want to do the same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A volunteer trip starting from Germany, until Sardinia, Italy.
It meant smth special to me since I'd never done it before. Such a long distance, on my own...
And really full of adventures 😁
Actually I just realized everyday how beautiful our world is. Not to mention humanity))
I hope I'll have such experiences in the future.
👌

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to survive 6 months of travel without having to book any accommodation. (Yeah one solution is CS, you're right 👋)
A bit of piano, if you're up for that. Or Hungarian.
I'd happily learn anything really. Another instrument, another language, Italians are ALWAYS welcome 😅
To share, well, the love of life. What's the meaning, etc...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, souvenirs from Hungary (in case I am not flying to you from Siberia 😅)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands

Countries I’ve Lived In

Hungary
