About Me
Hi everybody, I'm Marcella, a young smiling woman! I'm 23, I'm from Sardinia (with lot of love). I'm attending the first year of my master in Communication Strategies in Padua, a city in the north of Italy. Before, I studied Information, Media and Advertising in Urbino, a really little town in the centre of Italy, where I graduated the last september.
I grew up in Sardinia, in a little village in the centre (no, unfortunately I didn't live next to the sea).
Due to my studies I'm really into social media (no, I'm not an influencer), tecnologies and public relations: i sincerely love it, and I hope in the future, I'll able to work as mental coach or trainer for teenegers in High School, to help them to have more confidence in themselfs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up to Couchsurfing because I think it's a big opportunity to travel and, most important, to meet some people with I can discover the real face of the city, or the country I'm in. I usually travel as a "normal tourist" but I finally decided to try this new way to visit some place. I really hope to be host with someone who want to share a little part of his daily or normal life with the aim to let me know the beautiful things that I can't know or reach by myself. Moreover, I'm a student, so I don't have too much money, and, because I love travel too much, I'm looking for a cheaper way to visit new places.
Since 2014 I use the site Blablacar, which has the same idea of "sharing" and I has never been disappointed by the people I meet, so... I believe in you people I'll meet in the future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16, I have been an exchange student in Bergerac, France, next to Bordeaux. This is (for the moment) the best year of my life. I was really young, fearless, and ready to meet and know new people. With my host family I traveled around the France, but not in the big cities. They really love trekking, and they passed me their passion: we did a week of trekking, 130 km in 7 days, no car, no phones, (almost) no people, only us and the nature. That was amazing!
That year really changed my approach to the world, to the people and to my future. From that moment I undestood that I want to travel for the rest of my life, when I'll can, by all means, to learn as much as I can, so I could explain to the others how beautiful differences beetwen people and cultures are!
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a good Italian I obviously can cook for you some pasta! Actually that's no a big effort to me, because I really love cooking (even other dishes, not worry to ask!). I'm pretty good to listent to the others, so if you need some help or suggestion for something I can help you.
I love stay with other people, have fun and tell my funny (and sometimes stupid) stories from my life, so if you want a "buddy", ehi, I'm here!
