About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, to draw closer, to find each other and to feel." This is the purpose of Life.
ABOUT ME
I'm an open minded guy from a small village in North Italy, but I've been living in Groningen, the Netherlands, for the last three years, where I'd taken my bachelor degree in Physics. I'm now moving to Trieste (Italy) where I'm gonna start the master in Computational Physics the 1st of October. I'm a pretty handy guy, with sense of humour and quite sarcastic. Sometimes I can be so random that I get surprised of myself, but well, those are the moments I enjoy most.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We were born on this planet to be free to move around and explore it and we were born in the best time to do it. Travelling should be seen as everyone's right and I'm against the idea that travelling is always going to take a lot of money. F*** this way of thinking! Couchsurfing is exactly in this spirit, widening the possibilities for everybody. Sharing is caring is the way.
Interests
I like sciences in general, Physics in particular is my passion. I like listening to a lot of music, watching documentaries and cult movies, dreaming about travelling. I mostly prefer chilling with a few friends than going to big parties with too many people. I like long conversations on the universe, time, human being and many other topics on which to daydream.
I really like travelling alone, it makes it way easier to interact with the locals and actually bath in the culture. You only know yourself if you travel alone.
I like beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I took my bike and I went alone in a trip through Switzerland up and down the Alps. 400 km in the beauty of nature, blue skies, green fields and friendly cows.
The next summer I decided to visit some friends close to Paris and from there I started my first trip alone hitchhiking all the way down to Cartagena (south Spain). From there all the way back to Toulouse to join some friends and then back to Milan for a total of 4000 km in a month, sleeping in weird places, meeting wonderful people and having cool adventures.
Two summers ago (2016) I hitchhiked with a friend of mine from Santiago de Compostela down to Porto to taste some good wine, to enjoy the trip and the freedom of a good friendship.
My second year of bachelor (2017) hasn't been great from the personal point of view. I realised that I always needed to be surrounded by people in order to be happy. This realisation made me very thoughtful. For this reason, during the summer I decided that I had to spend some personal time with myself and find one again my inner me. I took my backpack and my hammock and took a plane to Santiago de Compostela, where I joined a friend of mine for a Celtic music festival. After that I hitchhiked for a month down to Portugal and followed the Mediterranean coast all the way down to Calabria (south italy) where I met my family there on holiday. I'm glad I did it, I found again the Marcello that I thought got lost in the dark winter.
Teach, Learn, Share
Be humble. If you are interested I know a lot of fun or mind blowing facts about science, physics and the universe. I can teach what I know and learn as much as you can teach me. Share is care. If you don't think science is interesting or your thing, I'll try to change your mind. Be prepared ;)
