About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going and open-minded guy, who loves nature, being in touch with people from different cultures, learning languages and trying out new vegan recipes. I love cooking/eating and feel that food can connect people - that's why I love cooking for my friends.

I'm an English teacher and I'm currently working as an advisor for schools with a bilingual program. I live in Poá, a town in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, but I've been doing a lot of travelling for work around Brazil. I've been going a lot to Natal, the countryside of São Paulo and to Rio de Janeiro, where my boyfriend lives (yes, we're momentarily in a mid-distance realtionship)

I've lived in the south of Brazil (Santa Catarina) and have visited many places across my country. I've had few experiences traveling abroad so far, though. I lived in the US for 4 months in 2008/2009, where I worked and studied and I've also visited the countryside of Bolívia.

I love meeting new people, new cultures and languages. When I'm at someone's place, I always make sure I help out with the chores and do my best to be a nice guest. You're welcome to stay at my place and count on me for some advice if you come to São Paulo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm willing to help and advise people visiting Brazil and hosting them when possible. I also love traveling to expand my mind and horizons by meeting local people.
