Overview
About Me
I am a Graphic Designer who loves travel, music, food and pop culture. The reason I love travelling the most is because I can share experiences with people from different cultures and backgrounds than mine, while learning to be tolerant, respectful and, most of all, compassionate to the world around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I live in a one bed apartment it is hard to me to share my place with others, but I'm really into meeting new people and share what I can from my country and my hometown, São Paulo. I also like to travel a lot, so Couchsurfing provides me the opportunity to meet new people from the places I visit in a way that I could not manage to do by myself.
Interests
Well, I love my profession, which is graphic design, and from my travels I try to learn as much as I can from the different types of vision many countries have about it.
Also I'm a huge music fan, listening to anything from early electronics and hard jazz to current indie rock, experimental music and hip-hop. Some of my favorite bands and artists are Radiohead, Miles Davis, Slowdive, The National, Boards of Canada, Brand New, Songs: Ohia, Gal Costa, Bjork, Curtis Mayfield, Angelo Badalamenti, Yo La Tengo, Swans, Kendrick Lamar, Mount Eerie, The Roots and LCD Soundsystem.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like the great authors of european cinema, like Resnais, Godard, Bergman, Fellini and Tarkovsky. I'm also a big fan of American Independent Cinema, specially from the 60s-70s, and some science fiction. Blade Runner is my favorite movie of all time.
In literature, I have an obsession with russian authors from the 19th century, as well as the american authors linked with the Beat Generation and, lately, with post-modern fiction (David Foster Wallace, Thomas Pynchon and Don Delillo). My favorite book ever might be one between Dostoievski's Demons and Big Sur by Jack Kerouac.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After graduation, in 2013, I sold most of my stuff and gathered money from where I could find to do a round the world trip that took me to 25 different countries in 5 months time. It was an awesome experience and one that I don't regret any second.
Teach, Learn, Share
Something I can share other than my home language, which is Portuguese, and brazilian culture in general is my knowledge of music and cooking :)
