I am a professional musician (saxophonist) born in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and I backpacked for a few years in countries in South America and Europe playing with local musicians and open to learn from the culture of each region.

I've lived (lived 1 year or more) in Brazil, Italy and now in England, and sometimes I still want to travel with my sax, meet new people, participate in jam sessions and play on the street.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am studying the cultural diversity of the world, more specifically musical, for an indefinite period. I am looking for people to temporarily stay with me during this research journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Performing in more than 30 countries as solo musician or part of bands (private concerts, pubs, theater, advertising, cruises, busking, etc)

- I have recorded more than 3 albuns of autoral compositions getting inspirations in folk music from diferents parts in Soth America.

- I have produced an independent movie serie about one backpaker musical trip in 4 diferents countries in South America with a friend that have never had experience abroad, musical professional experience and any experience with cinema productions.

- I have degree in music education and my thesis was about Saxophone online learning methodology focused in improvisation (2019). During my degree graduation I had experience teaching music in school from Rio de Janeiro.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Listen and tell stories about the life that we are living, my room, my foods, invite to walking and jam sessions in the city where probably I will enjoy as musician. And a lot of improvisation about it and always depending of my free time and budget for haha
