About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back and open minded guy, who loves meeting new people and knowing each other better. I like going out, meeting friends and new people, good talks ...
I'm interested in different cultures and usages, foreign languages and people. I would define myself as a pleasant, sociable person.

PHILOSOPHY

Prejudices die with travelling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to see different parts of the world, awesome cities and meet interesting people! On the other hand,
I want other people to have a great time in my hometown. I really like the Idea of couchsurfing and I'm glad to see that hospitality is still a common value :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at a really nice guy from brasil in Lisbon for a few days, but apart from that I have no experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i was a little boy in the age of ... well, 8 or 9, I went to a international football match. It was Schalke vs. FC Sevilla (Spain).
I walked through the city of Schalke and a group of Sevilla Fans singing and dancing and just celebrating around me. They took me in their middle and although i did not understand a word, i was so overwhelmed by their friendliness and kindness. An old man gave me a present, a little pin with the symbol of Sevilla.
After this experience it was clear to me, how you as a person can influence another one with friendliness and give the person a great time :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to learn new languages (even if its just a bit), learn something about the culture and the lifestyle.
I would like to "teach" these things to my guests, too
