Music, Movies, and Books

Love all three.

Music is my life! I love mostly indie rock and classic rock, and also electronica, jazz, pop, folk, and some classical. Anything that's good really. I like to play music and see live music whenever I can.

Just a few of the bands I like: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Broken Social Scene, Feist, Beach House, Lykke Li, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, the Kinks, Django Reinhardt.

I enjoy all kinds of movies from Hollywood blockbusters to foreign, classic and indie.

A few of my favourite films: Waking Life, Down By Law, Lost in Translation, Before Sunrise/Sunset, Apocalypse Now, the Big Lebowski, Dazed and Confused, Mulholland Drive.

As for books, both fiction and non-fiction...Clockwork Orange, Notes from the Underground, Nausea, Freedom, The Interpreter of Maladies, almost anything by Haruki Murakami and Raymond Carver

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a lifelong musician/guitarist, I have worked as an English teacher, and I studied Philosophy in University.

I would be happy share with you what I know about any of these things.

I love learning new things and expanding my trivia knowledge, so please teach me anything!
