COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience with couch surfing.  Although I have a lot of traveling experience, it has usually been with my family, through school or with other programs so I'm looking forward to trying something new and meeting new people!

I love to read.  Some of my favorite books are Poisonwood Bible, A Fine Balance, The Power of One, All the Pretty Horses, Olive Kitteridge, The Golden Compass series...My favorite TV shows are Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Law & Order

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This past summer I lived in San Rámon, Nicaragua and taught baking classes, english and held story hour/arts and crafts for younger children.  Even though I'm not the best baker it was a really amazing experience to be able to work with a lot of different women and live in such a different culture from my own.  Going back to visit my host family and travel to other places in Nicaragua is definitely in my plans for this coming summer.
