We are Marcia and David Fernandez Garvich, a married couple of travelers who enjoy visiting different places and spending time with our hosts. We also like to host surfers in our home.
David is an architect and Marcia is a English teacher. We have also both studied arts and theatre.
We consider ourselves cheerful, kind, open minded, respectful and friendly.
We enjoy a vintage lifestyle and we always romanticize our lives, thus we can be just as much happy with a picnic in nature as at a museum in a vibrant city.
We love arts, literature, music, cinema, retro fashion and specially traveling and spending great moments with friends and people from other cultures, sharing ideas and different points of view.
We also like cuisine, as David loves cooking.
We love cats, we have three of them: Saturno, Morgana and Lynch.

Somos Marcia y David Fernández Garvich, un matrimonio de viajeros que disfruta de pasear y compartir con nuestros anfitriones. También nos gusta hospedar en nuestra casa.
David es arquitecto y Marcia profesora de inglés.
Nos consideramos alegres, simpáticos, de mente abierta, respetuosos y amigables.
Llevamos un estilo de vida vintage y siempre romantizamos nuestra vida y podemos ser tan felices con un picnic en la naturaleza como en un museo en una ciudad vibrante.
Amamos el arte, la literatura, la música, el cine, la moda retro y especialmente de viajar y de pasar buenos momentos con amigos y gente de otros lugares y culturas, compartiendo ideas y diferentes puntos de vista.
También nos gusta la gastronomía, ya que a David le encanta cocinar.

We love arts in general, particularly visual and performing arts. Marcia enjoys performance and taking pictures. David loves drawing.
We also love music and we enjoy listening to different genres, such as indie music, pop, rock, electronic, jazz, tango, hip hop, reggae, gypsy, classical music, etc.
We enjoy watching films. Marcia enjoys classical, old hollywood and period ones, and David enjoys western and independent cinema.
Marcia likes literature, specially fiction, novels, short stories and theatre plays.

Nos encanta el arte en general, particularmente artes visuales y performáticas. A Marcia le gusta la performance y hacer fotos. A David le encanta dibujar.
También nos gusta la música y escuchar diferentes géneros, como música indie, pop, rock, electrónica, jazz, tango, hip hop, reggae, gypsy, música clásica, etc.
Nos gusta ver películas. Marcia prefiere las clásicas, del viejo Hollywood y de época y David los westerns y el cine independiente.
A Marcia le gusta la literatura, sobre todo ficción, novelas, cuentos cortos y también obras de teatro.

Sailing a boat in Ganga River in Baranasi

Sleeping under the stars at Khuri Desert in India.
Crossing over the Carpatos on a train.
Flying over the Grand Canyon on a small plane.

As Marcia is an English teacher she can help you practice your English and also our mother tongue, Spanish.
As David is an architect, he can advice you in any aspect related to design, construction and decoration.
We can share historical and cultural data related to our country and its society. We could also share turistic information and recommendations, if needed.
We can also cook a meal.

También podemos preparar alguna comida, ya que nos gusta la cocina.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As guests we can share expeciences from our travels, interesting stories and anecdotes, specially issues related to culture and arts. We can also offer mate (argentinian kind of "tea") and cook.
We can also join to a pub or party.

As hosts we can offer a mattress in our living room, blankets, towels, washing machine, wifi, a meal, touristic information, our company, protection and safety.
If we have time, we can invite you to a tour around the city or we could go to the mountains.

Como invitados, podemos compartir experiencias de nuestros viajes, historias y anécdotas interesantes, especialmente asuntos relacionados a la cultura y al arte.
También podemos tomar mate y cocinar.
Además podemos sumarnos a una salida a algún pub o fiesta.

Como anfitriones, podemos ofrecer un colchón en el living comedor, sábanas, toallas, lavarropas, wifi, una comida, información turística, nuestra compañía, tranquilidad y seguridad.
Si tenemos tiempo, podemos invitar un tour alrededor de la ciudad o un paseo por el cerro.
