About Me

A little while ago I diced to take a 6 months break from a busy big city life stile in Brazil and head off to Australia seeking new adventures and to learn a new language.

Landing to Australia was life course changing. I haven't only started to learn a new language but also had the world of new experiences waiting for me. I got the chance to do a bit of travel- mainly Asia, I made new friends and had old friends coming over from Brazil, learned a new routine, a new side of myself and a new perspective of my own culture.

I got truly involved to my new life and what was supposed to be a short journey became something more permanent and it's been now nearly three years.

I lived in Brisbane and recently moved to Mackay to work. Now that I'm sattling it's time to learn and explore the new things all over again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a amazing way to share and have a real local experience.

Interests

Traveling (obviously- can't wait to start planing my next one, possibly Philippines or Tasmania- I would love to do the Overland Track)

Been in water- any, fresh water is my favourite although I'd just done an open water diving course and found it the most amazing experience ever. Looking forward for my next dive.

Nature, animals, hiking, camping, wine, movies, people, etc..

Sports, I like keeping myself active but I'm not expert. I started going to yoga regularly and enjoy doing some laps in the pool or riding my bike on my free time.

Cooking, having a meal with friends and drinks is one of my favourites. I enjoy cooking and generally quite proud of the results. Vegetarian, tasty and most of the time followed by dessert.

Music, Movies, and Books

LOVE music, I can spend all my money towards gigs and festivals- that if I haven't spent with the trips. Anyways, I enjoy dancing and singing- but I can't really sing or dance very well.
My iPod is a big mix... My favourites will change from times to times and will always be a Brazilian playlist ready to go.

Taking my mum to a surprise trip in Brasil
Diving in Indonesia
Bullet train trip in Japan
