ABOUT ME

Me oh me oh me! I am a hard worker... and I am not sure if it´s my nature or if it´s just been out of necessity, but it is time for a break, a shut down! This is my summer break, my vacation, and my time to play before I go back to school. I am trying to have a more positive outlook on life. I am also trying to learn how to relax, funny that I should have to learn since it should be something so natural, but I do. And my main goal.. is to stop thinking so much! Other than that, I´m a smiley and sweet person, and I listen more than I speak.

PHILOSOPHY

Just go for it. It kind of sounds like a Nike slogan but really, there's no need to overthink things. Planning, researching, and preparing is important, but it's also important to take chances, to dive into that thing you've always wanted to do. Trust your intuition, listen to your inner voice and go where your curiosities take you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm going to be travelling around Europe for 2 months beginning May 11th to July 28th. I'll be travelling with my sister who is the life of the party. We are building our itinerary now, but we know we'd like to go Cordoba, Madrid, and Barcelona and then over to France, Norway, Germany, Austria, Greece, Rome, and Italy, and Greece. We want to taste all the good food, drink wine, see all the museums, and gorgeous cities. I don't want to have the typical tourist experience and see and do all the typical touristy things. I want to go to the hidden places and see things like a local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before!! I am fairly new to this site and I'm excited to get started. I've heard good things and I imagine there are loads of great people out there.. lets meet!

Interests

Walks without an exact destination, my morning coffee, a nice stretch, a good rhyme, a lovely tune, and movies, I LOVE movies. Also a good book, I am always reading something interesting, and right now I'm reading Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´m usually a sucker for nature.. but damn, travelling around Europe, I´ve really gained an appreciation for architectual aestheics. So three buildings I´ve seen that have blown my mine have been the Palace at Versailles in Paris, the Plaza De Espana in Sevilla, and of course the Louvre in Paris. Maybe there´s a similarity in all of these buildings in that they are massive and they have managed to stand sturdy for centuries. It´s just crazy how these man made structures stall tall and continue to preserve throughout ages.
