About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be kind. laugh. learn. grow. surf. be healthy in all aspects of life. dream big!
Appreciate each day & each moment, it only comes around this once.
Don't take anything for granted.

ABOUT ME

Laughs. Many laughs.
We grow old when we stop playing, not the other way around.
We're all a little bit mad, let's be weird together.
I absolutely love to learn and get into new stuff, wether it be an instrument, language, sport...
It's been over five years of travels, epic adventures, beautiful company, highs, lows, massive ticks off the bucket list, huge learning curves and most importantly learning to embrace it all.

PHILOSOPHY

Failing is acceptable, quitting's not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met to most amazing, generous and kind people across the globe and am lucky enough to now call them my friends. I'm absolutely positive that my trip wouldn't have been half as epic if I had just stayed in hostels, missing out on culture, amazing stories and great adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't read fiction in quite a few years, but my favourites are A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, The Host and The Cole Trilogy.
Music depends on my mood but mainly anything you can dance and relax to.
My all-time favourite movies are Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Inglorious Basterds (Tarantino is an absolute genious), The Place Beyond the Pines, Intouchables. Mostly movies based on true stories, but I don't mind a good light-hearted comedy in good company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning to surf has been my favourite challenge. Followed by learning Muay Thai in Thailand.
Getting serious on my path of never-ending learning and self-improvement was the best decision I've made: from meditation, yoga, to Wim Hof breathing, Ayahuasca in Peru.. it's been one hell of a great ride.
Just being able to travel for the past 5 years and experience all the things I have has been such a blessing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach & learn:
languages
food / nutrition / training / wellbeing / biohacking

Learn: handbalancing, creative / artistic things: ukulele, juggling, painting & drawing, hooping... I'm up for all the fun stuff!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories. About travels, life, experiences, happiness, sadness, loss and why never to take things for granted.
My friends refer to me as the in-person version of the Lonely Planet.
I'll more than happily cook for you (healthy, fresh, plant based)
