Stranger in a Strange Land
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing outside Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop (my favorite bar) watching the snow fall, in March, in New Orleans.
Watching Mt. St. Helen's erupt.
Visiting a farmer's house in central China.
A fabulous, leisurely, four day cruise through the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River. Watching my friend perform Neil Young's "Harvest Moon" in the talent show as we cruised up the river.
East Berlin before the wall came down.
14 years of Burning Man.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to learn more Spanish.
I'm a good tour guide for the Portland, Oregon, and southwest Washington State areas.
We are in southwest Washington State, just across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. We are also the gateway to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, and our volcano, Mt. St. Helens, can be seen from almost everywhere, and is only an hour and and half drive.
There is great skiing and snowboarding on Mt. Hood, also about 1 1/2 hrs away, and the Oregon and Washington coasts have similar travel times. Downtown
Portland is about 12 minutes from my house and is a lively city with lots going on at all times.
