A few years ago I moved to the land of ice and have stayed here working as a tourist guide since then, which I love! However something doesn't allow me to stay costantly in one place and push hard to new new lands, seas, islands and mountains.... mostly in the far north, where my heart belongs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only really started using Couchsurfing now, although I had some amazing experiences before when I travelled with some of my friends- seasoned couchsurfers and the hosts we stayed with were always so cool, warm and welcoming people. I have a lot of friends all over the world whom I met sometimes completely accidentally and I would never give away those friendships, so I believe there's also still a lot of new friends for me to make and many of them will be here, on couchsurfing. I've been constantly on the go for the last 5 years , but one day when I settle down a bit more I would love to host guests from all over the world.

Interests

I'm a very much outdoor person, who doesn't mind the lack of comfort and all the hardships it takes to enjoy something special, like a sunrise on the snow covered mountaintop. My main interest is however always trying to find something new in life and trying things I've never done before.

Music, Movies, and Books

All the fantasy stuff - I'd much rather read and watch about the things that never existed, since all the rest I can possibly see and experience by myself. The furthest travels are those in our imagination!

That mentioned, all started for me from The Moomins by Tove Jansson, which still remain one of my favorite books.

I love classical guitar music, flamenco, Rodrigo y Gabriela, hard electronics, some thrash metal, folk from all over the world and inteligent rap.

I climbed an iceberg and jumped into arctic water from it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you all about ice and glaciers and if you haven't seen one you might fall in love with it and decide to travel to the arctic. I can also cook you polish traditional dishes and sing sad polish songs provided we find a guitar lying somewhere around.
