Current:
I'm spending the entire month of July traveling around all the Balkan countries to find out what really differentiates the people living here, hoping that maybe I will find more things that unite them. I regularly record short videos of interesting facts I encounter along the way, and after my return I would like to write something more about this region. Maybe even in the form of a book?

I'm a person who likes to spend time creatively. I enjoy doing things that will make great stories to tell others. On the other hand, I love maps. It might sound strange, but I enjoy looking at various types of maps, from pretty normal Google maps, through artistic maps or maps showing interesting stats, to maps of fantastic worlds or even maps created just for jokes. ;)

Ok, time for other facts about me. My life revolves around games, especially making games. When I was 12, I knew that I wanted to create video games in the future, and now I'm doing just that. I believe that games are a form of art with the most promising opportunities to influence people's emotions. I want to create games that make people happier.

I love collecting various curiosities from different fields of knowledge. I play guitar sometimes, but one time when I was trying to make a few coins playing, people seemed like they'd rather pay me to stop playing.
I like rollerblading and hitchhiking, and I love getting lost in Wikipedia articles. Also, nobody needs to encourage me to dance or sing, no matter if I can do it or not. ;)

A few years ago, I also started my YouTube channel with videos about some curiosities. I only released one episode, with many others stuck in the WIP phase. Anyway, maybe someone will like it.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm here because I believe that the best part of traveling is meeting new people. People can give us incredibly many new ideas, new views of the world and new adventures.
Couchsurfing sounds like an ideal way of traveling for me, so I want to try.

Música, películas y libros

music - I listen to a very wide range of genres, so easier for me is to count what I didn't like... ok I cannot count. If I can't listen to some kind of music, then I try to drink more and listen to it again. If it doesn't work... ah, you know that :P Usually, I prefer more powerful genres like rock, punk, metal, etc.

FIlms - sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, musicals, action films. It's hard to watch horror with me because, in this kind of movie, I would like to comment on everything :D

Books - I like to read something that expands my knowledge about the world, like biography, popular science, or specialistic book (like Walter Isaacson's "Innovators" and "Steve Jobs"; or Y. N. Harari's "Homo Deus" and "21 Lessons for 21st Century"; or Bill Gates's "How to avoid a climate disaster").
On the other hand, my favorite genres of fiction books are sci-fi and fantasy (like Lem's or Philip K. Dick's novels, or the Witcher series).

Algo increíble que he hecho

- I traveled around Europe by hitchhiking three times (2500km to Edinburgh, 4200km around the Western EU, and 5500 km around the Baltic Sea)
- I drove alone by car from Katowice (Poland) to Athens (Greece) and back. It’s around 2000km just on one way… and during 1500km of them I had to brake by gears, due to broken brakes.
- I created an animation that was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
