Hitchhike trip to Iran. I'm planning to hitchhike from my home at Poland to Iran.

ABOUT ME

I'm Marcin. I'm 23 years old student from Poland. Last year I graduated civil engineering. But this is only what I used to do when I hadn't free time. I travel when I can. I visited more than 40 countries in my life and met hundreds of interesting people.

I'm very optimistic and open on the world person. I be fond of meeting new people. I love travelling but also I like parties and spending time with my friends. I enjoy freak and funny events and games :)

PHILOSOPHY

The most important for me is to travel and to be always in good mood, and haven't time for grumbling :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't too much experience at couchsurfing. But through the CS in last 4 years I spent some nice days in Paris, Wien, Prague, Lviv, Bucharest. I also host some people few times in my dormitory in Gliwice. I know that I have much less references that I wrote, but mostly people (me too ;) ) forgot about references.

Interests

I'm interested in cycling, travelling, football and Engineering, swimming, outdoor activities, music (mostly polish rap, rock and some pop, but I also like many songs from all kinds of music), history and travel books, trekking in mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: travel books, my favorites are Cejrowski's and Hajer's books. And I also enjoy Harry Potter series.
Music: mainly polish rap and rock, but I like rock and some pop songs too.
Movies: I like documentary movies mainly from National Geography or Discovery Channel, but I likewise not despise got comedy or war movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017 spend 2 months hitchiking in Russia, Kazachstan and Kirgistan.

In 2015 I rode by bicycle from Poland to Georgia and Armenia. It was 2 beautiful months.

In 2013 I run marathon, maybe it wasn't so amazing but It was important for me. I made it once and never agian.

In 2013 spend 2 months on bike tour from Poland to Gibraltar and Portugal. It take me 64 days, I made 6900 km, and I visited 14 countries. I can't forget about people I meet, beautiful landscapes in Pyrenees and Andaluzia, Corrida in Spain, and many hours spent on driveway in Alps.

During trip to Gibraltar I ride by a bike on a top o of Pasco del Stelvio 2760 m.
I caught a lorry by hitchhiking on a Sahara desert.
I was on a top of the highest mountain of Morocco - Toubkal 4167 m.

In 2014, I make 3 weeks Balkan Tour. I visit 10 countries and I was on the top of Musała 2925 m n.p.m (BG) , Moldoveanu 2544 m n.p.m.(RO), Magaro 2225 m n.p.m (MK)

In 2012, during last day of my bike tour around the Poland I make 400 km by bike in 24 hours ;)

I can learn you Polish (how to say "sz" "ł" "ć" :P ) and maybe how to ride a bike :D
