Hi, my name is Marcio van den Hout. I am Dutch-Brazilian, grew up in The Netherlands and I travelled in Europe and to Brazil most of my life. Now I am ready to explore more of the world. I've been studying Mandarin Chinese for a couple of years now and I travel to China and Taiwan as much as possible to learn about the culture and practice the language. My life revolves around music, art (painting, photography, videography), sports and friends. I like healthy living, I do not smoke or drink (only an occasional sip of wine), I like fruit and vegetables, but quite frankly I like fried chicken as well.

Through couch surfing I am hoping to make friends with locals and experience the place in a much deeper and personal way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach some guitar, drums or piano if you have instruments at home. We could go skateboarding, longboarding, play tennis or go hiking. I like learning languages, so we could study languages together or I could teach you some Dutch or Portuguese. If you prefer just hanging out, I am in for that as well :) I like making friends, listening to your stories and experiences.
