About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living in the Now??

ABOUT ME

I'm Scottish and lived most of my life in Edinburgh. Was born and brought up in a reasonably poor working class background,Until July 2008,when I got up and left for Argentina and spent 6months there in total before hitch hiking my way all the way through chile, bolivia and peru, where I stayed after falling in love, and then got married. Crazy times, but a year of plain changes! I went through my life trying many things, becoming good at them, then quitting, but a lot of what I learned from each thing I still carry in me.Languages and cultures are a passion for me.I try to learn as much as I can from each and every language I come across in life.I try to be as open minded as possible and love to meet new people from all walks of life. I am now studying in Shamanism and other traditional medicines, and hope to be an integral part of the marriage of Traditional and Conventional medicine systems. My main physical interest nowadays is Capoeira, and also Yoga! I could probably go on forever here, think I've said enough for you guys to get to know me,but if there's anything else you wana know, just send me a message! =)

PHILOSOPHY

I feel everyone should treat each other with love and share whatever they have, as well as their heart! If the whole world loved each other and left space for comprehension before acting upon initial emotions, wouldn't the world be a much better place? Everything on this earth is energy, and love is the strongest of all energies. So make use of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to share my knowledge as much as I can with the whole world. I'll help anybody in any way I can and love to develop as a person hearing other people's stories and opinions in life! I receive anybody with open arms and pass no judgments! (try to - but I am only human after all..)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed with Sebastian Soto in Viña del Mar, Chile. He took me to a friend's party and i got drunk and started doing backflips off his friend's front step hahaha. I fell hard, so many times!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met a clairvoyant in Argentina who steeped me in spirituality and provoked HUGE fundamental changes in my life.

Hitch Hiked my way in horrible conditions through the Andes mountains from Chile through Bolivia all the way to Perú. Travelling with poor racist farmers who were going town to town selling their agricultural products.

Fell in love in Cusco, Perú after the hitch hike of a life time and ended up getting married.. The lovely lady's name is Erika

Was on "mañana vemos" argentinian morning television show to discuss my country's football and my views of Maradona as manager of Argentina national side.

They're all pretty amazing things in my opinion :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Quite a vast knowledge of languages and cultures, and language in general.
Capoeira. Didgeridoo.

Shamanic practices and philosophies

I would love to keep learning languages from others, and learn more and more about other cultures too. Also would be nice if I could come across somebody who could pass on any medical/holistic knowledge to me, and hear people's mystical experiences in life!

And just general travelling advice and knowledge!
