ABOUT ME

I am a Marine Biologist, love traveling, diving, dancing, natural therapies and meet people everywhere. I am extremely laid back and easy to get along with. I have two kids named Juana and David .

PHILOSOPHY

I am more spiritual than religious. I am searching for myself, and love learning new things, meeting new people, and discovering other points of view. I respect all kinds of beliefs, and look for respect from others. I am vegetarian, but I'm cool with people who eat meat. I love nature and try to flow with it. I think nature is the master which you have to learn from. I also believe that what you don't like in
others is what you have to work in yourself to grow. I love also everything that has to do with diving and natural therapies. I am Reiki practitioner as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested to share with people or helping them while they are in Germany. I am happy to show people around Mainz and introduce them to the German Culture, with my latino point of view.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had couchsurfing experiences on my own in Costa Rica, US, Brazil, Venezuela, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Greece and here in Colombia. I want to join this site because I think it is a wonderful way to show gratitude and change a bit the way we see the world some times. It is a way to trust in humanity again and give back love, kindness and fun.

Interests

I love my kids and the ocean. I love scuba diving, to be in the outdoors, hiking, camping, climbing, traveling. I like to go out for coffee and talk, or go out dancing. I love movies, plays, museums, art, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies, especially independent films. I love listen to reggae, classic rock, jazz, bossa nova,old salsa, classical music, african music, indigenous music, etc. I don't like vallenato or reggaeton. I read a lot about spirituality, self discovery, functional medicine, healing therapies, indigenous cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had TONS of interesting experiences, but being a mother is one of the most important experiences of my life. I am also a traveler at heart and have visited many countries in the Americas, experienced many different cultures. One of my most fantastic memories is scuba diving in Bali, Egypt, Costa Rica and Colombia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied the mayan calendar, do hand-crafts such a macrame, I practice meditation, and enjoy learning and practicing holistic medicine like reiki and functional medicine.
