About Me

CURRENT MISSION

All who wander are not lost...

ABOUT ME

Recent college graduate and general reveler now dwelling in New Orleans, LA.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmm, this one is tough. I have a very idealized version of how I think life should be, which in reality is nothing like how life really is. I guess, I would say my philosophy is to truly know yourself, know the world around you, know your place in the world and how you came to occupy that place, and then all things can grow from there. To me, if people were more aware of these things, the world would be a much better place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that are witty and funny, movies that aren't poorly made or made strictly for profit, movies that make me think really hard about things or ones that portray situations or emotions in a deep, moving, inexplicably real way. Actually, I look for the exact same thing in books and music, too (except for the funny/witty part in music--I only like SERIOUS music!!!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tiken Jah Fakoly at the first annual West African Reggae fest in Bamako, Mali in a packed 30,000 seat stadium. I got whipped by an army guy on the way in, but it was worth it, as the entire place was dancing like maniacs while he played from 12-4 am.

Teach, Learn, Share

Shit, anything and everything. I can't think of anything specific.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom
