About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Recently it has turned out that I will spend 3 years in Marseille for my PhD. I woul like to try to make mine the motto: "if you do what you like, you will never work one day in life". This is the reason why I decided to commit myself again in something related to my education, which I hope will be helpful for me and everyone else :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately when I quit from my last flat, after accomplishing my studies, we closed our account but I kept following the Wave.
In general I think that hosting and/or surfing provides interesting experiences which put in evidence unknown aspects of ourselves, as it is the decision to hang hands of others people that appear "randomly" in our life.
In addition, it is always good to meet someone unknown that interact with us because it provides the opportunity to deep learning yourself as no pre-conditioning is involved. Moreover, under this light it is cool to re-defines the concept of "unknown" person as we are used to it!
Interests
I love outdoor activities and long discussions, especially if cooking is involved! I strongly support the typical Italian stereotype of good cookers. I love reading and take my time to write down my thoughts and make myself influenced by the environment which surrounds me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think that every single thing in this planet could be defined as good, the point is how, when and who you are when these things approach you. In my opinion set and setting are key features when bumping with art.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo trip from Paris-Lisbon all way by foot with my tent.
Working as a divemaster and sailing assistant in Ilha do Pico (Azores)
Cross the Stretto di Messina by swimming
Climbing and freeriding in my "backyard" mountains in Italy.
Be an Erasmus student rooted in Tenerife.
Teach, Learn, Share
My ears, eyes and thong are always ready to exert their functions. I am trying to find my place in this word so I would like to say that I am looking for new and old insights.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe that is not predictable what will be said in a conversation and also I do not share the idea of furnish topics before meeting someone. I really appreciate to look back to the experience when it is accomplished; the way it has evolved and the casual connections formed within it. I love the process through which things happen without focusing on its beginning and ending points.
