Hey, I'm a 23 filmmaker/screenwriter. I like to feel, I'm a romantic, I'm a philosopher, I'm a dreamer, this all sounds like a cliché, but I'm in a place of my life where I just want to feel things and share emotions and experiences. I want to meet people that could be the main inspiration for a movie, and everybody has incredible stories, if not let us make those stories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's nice to meet new places but it's always and outside look, I want to know the people and an inside look of what place means to them, what they like, what they like to do, the places they love. I don't want to just go and visit places I want to feel them with real emotions and real people!

Interests

My main passion are movies, but I'm a dreamer and movies are just the beginning I want to create things that make a better world, create music ( I have 0 experience in music ), create poetry, create clothes, create art in every form, create things that help, I hope to help change the world one day, I think everyone of us has a little bit of that in theirselves. I believe we right now have the heart and mind to change everything and I want to learn everything about me, about the world and about you to help create that change.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have a varied taste, I love classics like Queen and David Bowie, really found of Radiohead and Gorillaz ( Thom Yorke is the man! ), but I'm mainly an hiphop head, dirty secret, I can sing every Kanye West song by heart, he's my favorite asshole in the world.

Movies: I don't want to keep you here forever, so I won't say the classics, but right now I'm in a romantic mood. I love the Before Trilogy ( Before Sunrise, Sunset and Midnight ) and they're one of the reasons I'm planning on traveling. I'll just say directors name I'm found of it's easier - Gaspar Noé, Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Winding Refn, Spike Jonze, Lars Von Trier, Christopher Nolan, Roberto Benigni ( La Vita é Bella is one of my favs), Martin Scorcese, David Cronenberg, Terrence Mallick, and of course Stanley "The God" Kubrick.

Books: I don't read as much as I should and that's a big problem I have, I'm an extremely visual man and have a little big of attention disorder so it gets hard and I don't want to start our relationship with a lie. I can share with you some Portuguese poetry and say that I already read some Kafka and Bret Easton Ellis if you have a great book you would like to share with me for me to start reading I would love that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done some short movies I can show you. I hope these travels are the first of amazing things I'm going to do, help me build some incredible stories and tell that I've met some incredible people to build on myself for creating in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can talk about movies, music and art, You can show me museums and places you personally like, I don't want to just learn about the countries I'm going to but to meet the people that live there and what do they have to tell me and teach me, I want to know what you like, I would love to see the places that you love and have the emotions you feel and I'm ready to share what I feel and I love too. Sharing thoughts and emotions, sharing bits of life trying to build incredible memories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm planning on having a camcorder with me during my trip. And make a sort of a documentary that I can show one day, If you want to become part of my life forever and be immortalized on screen we can definitely share that. I'm ready for everything and I'm pretty faithful to the people that help me and help me improve so you'll always have a friend in Portugal that you can rely on for whatever. We can also make "shitty" short movies I can write a story on the spot with whatever we have and make a movie out of it!
