About Me

I am used to living with others - from small shared flats, and couch hopping up to living with ten people in a shared house. I love living with others, sharing ideas, cooking, playing boardgames and having vivid discussions.

I am a busy guy: studying my masters in Entrepreneurship, running the student magazine, brewing beer and being an active member of my shared house, my scholarship group, and research projects ... I am always up to something.

Curiosity is my most defining trade. I am interested in everything, I want to understand the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like talking with people, getting tips from locals and gaining a new perspective on things. That's nothing a hotel can offer, only strangers, people like you and me.

Interests

My love for cooking and doing things with my hands started when I was twelve. I quickly advanced to three or five-course menus. Quickly afterwards (with 14) I taught myself how to make wine, mead and brew beer.

It's my curiosity and passion for understanding the world, which leads me through life and gave me a vast variety of knowledge and skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My adventure in Latvia:

I travelled to Latvia while being on the plane my flat got cancelled and my luggage got lost. Sounds horrible? Sure, but it was the start of the best time of my life (for now). Just equipped with my phone and a notebook I started my search for a new home. What I found were a dozen helping hands who offered me their couch ... and after three days of intense networking calling and at least 16 coffee dates I not only got my luggage back and found a bed. I found the perfect flat and three new friends for life.
