About Me

I am retired after working for over thirty year in environmental protection . I am married and have two grown children. I have also two cats! Now I have a lot of time, more than my wife, who is still working, and I want know people, host guests and take many trips with my wife and also on my own, to improve my English and learn French and Spanish too. Wherever I go, I look for street food and markets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people and talking about everything, but when I visit a country I find it difficult to meet people to talk with. I hope couchsurfing will be a good way to meet people. I like host some guest when I have time to spend with them, to cook, to go around.

Interests

I like walking, playing tennis and swimming in a beautiful sea.
I like to visit countries and cities, monuments and museums, but also to walk and live in nature.
I like also cook for my friends and guests.

I can share a spare bedroom in my house at Empoli, half an hour by train from Florence and Pisa (and from Pisa Airport also), one hour by train from Siena and Lucca.
