I'm a Downtown Phoenix area social worker for a local faith-based non-profit. I love my maturing city and the people that fill it. I am also an Americorps alumnus by way of Public Allies; a program that changed the direction of my life. My passions are stories and sharing. I enjoy hearing people's perspectives and histories, not feeling threatened or the need to invalidate their contributions but rather add them to the narrative. Coincidentally, this is also part of my job: I document stories of the low-income, sometimes migrant, families that my organization works with. I am also a sharer. I share my time, money, possessions, knowledge, anything really, to those people that I consider part of my community. As far as activities go: I bike everywhere! Also backpacking...and photography (but everyone's a Photog now).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like people and am not interested in paying money to avoid them. If I'm going to spend money why not make friends while I do it? I don't thin Best western is really looking for a long term gig.
