About Me

I’m a 20 y/o guy from Germany, who just graduated German high school, which is a little different than US Highschool, which I also graduated from in 2017, more about that later. I’ve lived in Bonn, Germany for the most time in my life. My mother is from Germany, my dad from the States, I also have a 2 years younger sister which is in New Zealand right now as an au pair for a year. Since my dads brother still lives in the States and my parents are just the best, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend a year abroad with my uncle, in San Diego, California. I spent my 12. Grade senior year in at a highschool near San Diego, of which I eventually graduated off, the whole year was arguably the best experience I’ve had in life. Not just because of the really great area and the great weather but in the first place because of the things Ive learned throughout the year. Not just am I almost perfectly fluent in a second language but also have I learned many things about what I want to do in life, how I want to do it and what I want to do it for. For example what traveling and going places is about, it’s not about the most exclusive place to stay at. its about experiencing the place in the way it lives. The best way in my opinion to do that is through locals who share your interests in some way and don’t just know the basic places, but the actual heart of their home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cs gives me the great opportunity to travel a place and get to know it like I probably only would over a long time span. With Couch surfing I get the chance to receive first hand informations from locals about all the things that make that place, that place, they can tell me about where to find the heart of their city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed alive

Teach, Learn, Share

One of the most important things in life is learning and listening to people.
I love learning from people and sharing opinions on things because to me it’s essential to listen to every side of view of a topic, no mater if one shares my opinion or not. Especially talking to those who have a different opinion, let’s me learn more than talking to someone who shares my opinion and views on a topic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Im a open minded guy, who loves adventures of basically any kind, so if you need an adventure buddy, I’m in! I love being out and about, just as much as I like preparing a nice dinner with some friends at night and watching a great movie after.
Doing anything > siting at home doing nothing
