ABOUT ME

I'm into a bunch of sports such as skiing, surfing, football, but I also love to meet people and discover new things.

PHILOSOPHY

The way I see it, the sun only rises twice a day so whenever you're eating that apple pie make sure you click your fingers twice to save the world. Thank you. Lisa Tate everybody...(*applause) thank you..thank you....(*bows)

On a more serious note: there's always something to learn from anywhere and there is no set path. Rational people are awesome.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host surfers as much as possible. Love meeting friendly people and showing them some amazing spots in New Zealand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with some friends, and used it a little when travelling around Europe.

Intereses

Marco: I've got a bunch of interests... I like board sports, football but also really like indulging in good conversations. I enjoy music and singing and like hands on work (crafts). I love food and trying new and different things :) I'm pretty open and relaxed and love laughing.

Lisa: I love a few things most, animal related stuff, doing art, shopping is pretty great too especially in other countries :) taking photos, meeting people, trying foods (especially asian)! singing too, science is also awesome, oh I love lychees, i love laughing, I am not coordinated at all with my legs and arms which sucks, I enjoy being stupid with my boyfriend. I don't like fish sticks.

Marco: Movies:anything (except horror/ which I find pointless), but also enjoy Shutter Island, The Prestige, Batman, and funny movies like: Hot-tub-time-machine, The Intouchables
Music: John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Lady Antebellum, and others :)

Lis: Movies: I often prefer more light hearted movies, don't like horror or thriller either, especially not things like house of wax... I love classic disney movies, Studio Ghibli movies (like my neighbour totoro :3) Easy A (and other actually clever romcoms like pitch perfect), Amelie, Airplane, Naked Gun and Hot Shots (lol).
Music: as above :) also James Taylor, Dee Carstensen, Usher and some RnB stuff too.
Books: too many to list :( can never remember the names but love reading.

Turns out, fish have compassion and look out for their fish friends!
Water-skied in Northland, New Zealand.
Ate delicious Sapporo style ramen in Tokyo.
Bathed in a beautiful Onsen (hot springs) in Japan.
Free-dived with the turtles in Bali.
Ate delicious nightmarket food in Taiwan.
Saw 4th July fireworks in a harbour in New York.
Ate chocolate toast in Taiwan.
