Ciao I'm Marco and I just moved back to Italy after 4 years in Germany.

As of December 2022 I have been working on cruise ships for almost five months.

I was a lifeguard all over the south of Italy (yes I'm a good swimmer and I know amazing places in my region where to sunbathe!), Cabin crew in Nürnberg, delivery driver and bartender in Berlin.

Before moving to Germany, I and my dad cultivated our family fields: we have olive trees, a small veggies garden with a well and a few fruit trees (I'm pretty sure that for the time being he's very eager to draw me back in this game).

I would love to meet travelers and make new friends: my aim is to show you as much as possible of this Adriatic sea pearl and teach you all I know about Bari and the surrounding area, have fun together, keep speaking English and possibly German until I'll board a cruise ship in 2 months as crew.

I'm atheist even though I was baptized and my family is Catholic but, I respect your beliefs and I hope you won't try to convert me*.

I like to joke a lot *(if you took offence I'm sorry, sometimes I push it too hard).

I'm a history aficionado. From the very cradle of civilization passing through the rise and fall of empires with their bloody wars, up until now.

I like to know as much as I can about all the cultures in the world, in order to respect anyone and understand unknown behaviours to me. It's also for my knowledge. We can be free only if we love each other.

I'll talk of politic only if we can get along with it. Far from me to impose my idea above yours but it's what happens when people with different points of view meet. Then they argue and it's never worth. Or maybe I could only bore you to death.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019 I had the chance to participate to one of the most famous winter rallies of Germany in South Bavaria (only motorcycles allowed), the so called "Elefantentreffen": I Slept in the cold, snow and mud in a tent without any knowledge of camping for 3 days.
