About Me

Hello everyone!!!

I'm a sociable guy and always looking for new adventures. I love being with friends, sharing happy moments around a glass of wine or dancing till dawn at festivals and parties, especially if the music is techno! But despite my "party animal soul", I also appreciate quiet and peaceful moments in the mountains, taking long hikes or challenging my limits to cover hundreds of kms by bike.

I am very enthusiastic and like to launch myself into new projects, although sometimes I admit that I don't always complete them, but who knows, maybe it's my ADHD's fault...oh look, a rabbit! Yes, sometimes my curiosity and the energy I put into new things push me to jump from one idea to another, but maybe that's also part of my charm!

I love to travel and discover new cultures and languages. I'm always up for an adventure and like to throw myself into the unknown, even if it means sleeping in a tent in the middle of nowhere or facing unexpected situations. But don't think I'm just a "river in flood"! I also like to read a good book and relax with a TV series, even if sometimes, after a busy day, I come home exhausted and end up collapsing on the couch.

So, if you are looking for an adventurous guest and -hopefully- friend who loves music, festivals, hiking in the mountains and convivial moments, but also appreciates quiet and reading, then I am the right person for you! It will be a pleasure to share unique experiences with you and get to know each other cultures. I look forward to meeting you! See you soon! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I am a travel enthusiast and love meeting local people, who are the real treasure of a city! I want to experience different destinations through the eyes of those who know them best, discovering hidden secrets and immersing myself in the local culture. Also, I have to admit that as a young "exploited" worker, money is not always plentiful, so Couchsurfing is my solution to travel cheaply and make new friends all over the world. I'm ready to share stories, laughter and many adventures with Couchsurfing hosts as I explore the world in search of new experiences! #Broke&CuriousTraveler" ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music lover and my tastes are really broad! I love to dance to the pop and R&B hits of artists like Dua Lipa (marry me!), Beyoncé and JLo, but also get carried away by the indie and rock sounds of Kasabian, Paolo Nutini (seen live several times, a unique thrill). I can't resist the allure of Bad Bunny's raggaeton and Rosalia's sensual vocals. And when it comes to techno, I get swept away by the performances of Deborah De Luca, Amelie Lens, Giolì & Assia... I also love the relaxing atmospheres of deep house and the magical moments of blurry mornings with Kerala Dust. In short, anything that makes me vibe and makes me want to dance and sing, but aalso that can give a good vibe!

As for movies, although my memory betrays me at times, works like Nomadland, Triangle of Sadness, Parasite and Her have struck me deeply. But I must admit that I am a fan of TV series! Sense8 made me cry like a baby at the end, Dark literally blew my mind, and I am addicted to the laughter I get from Tina Fey's comedies, The Office, Will&Grace and RuPaul's Drag Race with the legendary Katya & Trixie. Nor can I forget the LGBTQI+ masterpiece of Pose and the intense suspense of How to Get Away with Murder!

As for books, I like to range out and I aim to read challenging things as well, although sometimes it becomes a chore in the evening! I am currently reading "Dschinns" by Fatma Aydemir, to train my German as well, and I like to lose myself in ZeroCalcare comics. Among my favorite books are "Call Me By Your Name," "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair," "La Sombra del Viento," and anything written by Niccolò Ammaniti and Ishiguro. In short, I am a foray across genres and literary cultures, ready to explore new worlds through printed words!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done so many things, but I wouldn't know where to start, honestly... a glass of wine to start and see what comes up?

Teach, Learn, Share

My specialty is cooking, and although I must admit to being slightly finicky and slow in the kitchen, I am more than happy to share my tricks and recipes with those who have patience and a desire to learn. I love cooking for others, because for me it is a gesture of affection that fills my heart. But that's not all! I am also open to discuss and learn on any subject. I love chats that are interesting and full of discovery, whether it is about cooking, travel, culture, music or anything else. I am a hardened curious person and am ready to jump into any adventure or intriguing conversation!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest, I can bring with me my joy of sharing stories and laughter around a bottle of wine (I'll take care of it). I am always ready to make new friends and exchange experiences and views on life. It will be my pleasure to share pleasant moments and make our time together a fun and meaningful experience!
