ABOUT ME

My friends find me an active and cheerful person. :D Unless I worked too hard for too long, I am usually energized. I'm positive and who find happiness in the simple things of life. I love biking, yoga, good long talks, walks and food.

My closest friends say I'm an adventurer because I'm frequently on the move. All in all, I am just curious and am always keen on exploring our common and only home, Earth. :) That is why I tend to be motivated at work as well - I support cities and companies to tackle climate change.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I travel alone I prefer to be hosted by Couchsurfers or AIESECers. This way I can have a better insight into the locals' daily life. I live in a shared flat. My availability might be restricted due to business traveling and my flatmate. However, I'm always willing to meet travellers and share my "reality" with them. ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Being an AIESECer (international youth leadership org), I've been offered the opportunity to be hosted by friends or friends of friends of mine wherever I've been. I've also welcomed many people at my places and always enjoyed having travellers around me. Couchsurfing and floorsurfing has been part of my life since 2008. :D

Interesses

The things that I enjoy the most are part of my weekly routine. I'm very interested in learning about the relations among society, technology and environment, so I do dedicate part of my free time to do - what I call 'light work' - reading. Biking everywhere, practicing Iyengar Yoga, running in parks, slaklining and watching documentaries are activities I love. Living abroad and travelling are part of my physiology.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

At home I listen to plenty of piano jazz and some ambient. My favourite live concerts are jazz and contemporary classical. When attending festivals, I enjoy shaking with african and middle eastern music. Trance is another musical universe.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

One of the unforgetable moments of my life took place in Tajikistan. By the end of my stay there I attended a traditional wedding. At some point I found myself dancing cheerfully among beautiful local women whose smiles and singings were magical. "Never forget you have a Tajik father here." said my host father at the airport when I left.

Another great momemt I would share happened in Mozambique. In that morning I had attended a meeting in a clean and cosy international NGO office. I was coming back home when I noticed a clearly sick infant being held by his mother in one of the most dirty and crowded places one can find in Maputo: the local mini-buses at peak time. Contrasts keep me aware of who we are.
